Law of Attraction – What The Bank Didn’t Say About Wealth Creation (Part 1)

Article by Ken Triat

“Spend, borrow; borrow, spend,” the bankers urged. “No credit, slow credit, bad credit, no problem. If you own your own home, we’ve got a loan for you. No equity needed.” We see it every day a new way to loan money, extend your credit card limits or the use the equity in your home and the great things that you can buy from this new found wealth. Wealth Creation without working for it, on a scale not seen before. Where scant regard has been made of the impact of this added credit and its repayment. As geed is good, have it now pay for it latter was programmed into us by the media at all levels. Personal debit has now become a major issue and any economic downturn and associated reduced employment will have direr consequences let alone a round of interest rate rises. No wonder that bankruptcies have climbed to levels 10 times higher than they were several decades ago. In a crisis that is on a scale never seen before in the world of finance. The computer modeling that said there was little risk has been found to have holes wide enough to drive trucks through. It is rippling out of America and engulfing areas of the finance never impacted on before. There is foreclosure disasters being recorded every day, the loose-pocketed purveyors of credit are now reaping what they have sowed. Levels of debt held by some banks are causing runs on their capital forcing Governments to step in with public money to stem the cash outflows.

Gary Eldred PhD is Professor of Real Estate at Trump University put it this way.Weakness of Will and Financial Discipline

1. In adopting the sales approach, the bankers knew that millions of people would jump at the chance to spend and borrow now, and then think about the destructive consequences later. 2. Because let’s face facts. Home equity borrowing vanquishes your capacity to build wealth. If you do use it, use it only for productive investment that offers low risk for good returns. (As the old advice goes, “Never dine on seed corn.”) The data on home equity loans overwhelmingly show that borrowers most frequently put the money they borrow into consumption, including ill-considered home improvements or extended overseas travel.3. What about consolidating your bills or paying off high-interest-rate credit card balances? Again, prudence says no. Rather than paying less interest, this approach often leads to even more debt. Why? Because borrowers who wrap their credit card balances and other bills into home equity loans (or refinances) temporarily minimize the pain of debt. Yet, with a longer term and lower payments, the debt generates higher long-term costs. Even worse, many borrowers run their credit card balances climb right back up to where they were previously.

“Thank goodness the home went up ,000 in value last year,” they think. But meanwhile, wealth destruction continues.

Use the powers provided by the Universal Laws and the Law of Attraction to build your own wealth creation so that you don’t use others. Build your own goals; don’t let others build your goals for you by including you in their goals where what those have in store for you is little at all and more likely,” but a life living with debt”.

Coaching for Burnout, Balance and Success (Part 2 of 2)

Article by Laurie Weiss

Coaching often takes place in 30-minute weekly telephone conversations although some coaches and clients prefer to meet in person and/or use a longer format.

During a typical call, the client reports on accomplishments since the last call, as well as on incompletions. The coach provides both congratulations and a thoughtful examination of the problems that led to the undone tasks.

The coach may make specific requests that these tasks be completed, or that they be re-examined in the face of the current situation. The coach may also suggest that some tasks be dropped entirely, if it becomes clear that the client has no real intention of doing them; guilt wastes energy.

Clients report on current problems and opportunities and learn to ask the coach for specific help or direction in making choices and plans. Coaches provide encouragement, challenges, information and direction. They also provide referrals to others who can provide needed technical support for various projects, including physicians, accountants, software experts, networks, attorneys, marketers, graphic designers, and other coaches.

There Are Many Different Types of Coaches

Coaching is a profession that is practiced by a variety of individuals, with no standardized training or regulation. Several professional accrediting processes do exist, including the well-respected International Coach Federation.

Today’s professional coach, like yesterday’s mentor, does come from a variety of different backgrounds, and can assist a client to identify and reach different objectives. While accreditation is a guarantee that the coach has a certain skill level, it is no guarantee that any particular coach is right for any particular client.A coach with a background of business consulting (with or without an MBA) may have realized that just providing expert advice about a business problem isn’t enough. Although a client may know what to do about a problem, s/he may often have difficulty implementing the solution without ongoing support. The coach provides this support.A coach skilled in career development may help an unemployed client through the job search process. This may involve helping them identify target companies, write a resume, and learn to present themselves well in an interview.

Another coach focuses on helping her clients discover the unique work path that will help them feel truly alive and successful, instead of on just finding employment.

A financial coach may be a financial planner who provides ongoing support to help you implement the plan you have designed together.

A personal coach may come from a background in the helping professions and hold a professional degree, certification or license in psychology, social work, or counseling. S/he may also be a senior member of any field who has broad life experience and training and a commitment to the success of the client.

Choosing a Professional Coach

Choose your coach with as much care as you would choose any other member of your professional support team. First consider the specific support you need and ask your associates whether they know of anyone who can help. A surprising number of people already work with coaches. The expertise of the coach you are considering and your comfort with the person who offers this very personal relationship are both important factors. You should expect your coach to be committed to helping you define and achieve your own goals. Your coach should help you examine possible courses of action, help you identify and solve potential problems, and support you enthusiastically every step of the way.

Something About Happiness – Part 2

Article by CD Mohatta

This is continued from part one of this article series. Please read that before you read this article. What makes a person happy is a little different for each person, and you need to find what makes you happy. Keep a notebook and for a while write down every time you smile or feel good. Even if you are depressed, you will find that you laugh at television shows, that you feel good after taking a walk, that your friends sometimes make you laugh or maybe you enjoy learning things. You might also enjoy a good cup of coffee or company with a pet.

These little things are the foundation of happiness. Happiness is relishing the good parts of your life and not dwelling on the sad parts so long. It is about learning to like yourself rather than being so hard on yourself. It takes practice to be happy. If you have wonderful things happen to you and you are not in the practice of noticing the enjoyments you already have, then not even big successes will help. Sure, you’ll be happy if you win the lottery for a little while, but then you will go back to taking what is in your life for granted, because that is your habit.

It is your habits you must change to be happy. Your circumstances will eventually follow to reflect your habits in larger ways, but there are things to be happy about in each day, you just need to find them.

What gives happiness and what takes it away?

I read about many people. I talk to many people. I meet many people. I also look at myself and the way my own life goes on. When I begin thinking of happiness I get lost for answers. I find that everybody is seeking to get happiness in his or her own way. I also find that some people just do not think about happiness. They are busy with their work and struggles. They have no time, rather desire to think about happiness. Many of such people will repent the way they lived their life at the end period of their life. Many people would not think about what went by even then. Are you in search of happiness? Is happiness important to you? Do not give a straight answer that yes, happiness is important to you. Before saying yes, think – how many times at night you reflect about what made you happy and what did not? Most of us do not analyze.

We all think that happiness is important to us, but only few of us give time and thoughts to be happy. I feel that happiness is getting ignored for many reasons. The daily living leaves no time for thinking about happiness. Thinking needs time. We all are becoming less of thinkers and more of chore performers. When you begin reaching the end of your life, what do you want to fell about how it went by? If you want that when you look back at the age of 70 or 80 and say that you knew your priorities and lived a happy life then you better work on that now. That brings us to the question- what gives happiness and what takes it away. So now that you have read this article, do take time and think over it to make your life happier.
