“Personal Development” – Growing Your Business in Spite of Your Mind.

In the world of Personal Development you have 2 types of people. One type of person is the individual who lives and dies by the sword of personal development, which has the ability to cut through any problem at any time, and in any situation. The second person is the individual who is not quite sold on the fact that developing personally and acting in spite of their mind are actually the keys to changing their results, changing their life, and creating a new, secure future.

The problem I see in today’s society is that too many people are attached to the results or the fruits that they want to bare when they have no idea what it actually takes to create success. Society depicts the lives of celebrities, lifestyle, riches, and fame as this glamorous rendition that can be created through 1 song or 1 week of marketing. Let’s get real. Creating success is a result of your daily action.

However, it only starts by taking action, for taking action on the wrong knowledge equals miserable failure. But, before you can achieve the success that you want for yourself, 9 times out of 10 you are going to experience miserable failure.

There is a way to avoid this and that is personal development. Personal development will allow you to take control of your mind and dictate your results.

Why is this important/

Your mind will either keep you in the game or take you out of the game. Could you imagine Oprah becoming who she is today if she didn’t develop personally and thought she was going to fail?

Do you have any idea the pressure that comes with making some of the decisions she has to make?

You have to have had to develop a certain personality that allows you to accept that kind of social status.

Taking back to the world of business, sales and marketing, personal development takes equal effort to master.

You have to be able to keep going, after you have gotten rejected. That’s called the personal development of mastering your mind. When your mind wants to give up, you have to keep going. When you mind wants to slow down, you speed up. Let you mind know that you have developed a tolerance to it’s manipulating habits. Take control of your personality and develop new habits that will set you on a winning path every day.

Some things to do:1.Take at least 30 minutes to inquire on some kind of Personal Development training every day.2.Meditate or Sit in silence for at least 30 minutes each day. Preferably 30 minutes in the morning & 30 minutes in the evening. But 30 minutes is a good place to start.3.Talk to yourself. You will be surprised, just how many answers you can find on your own. I think most times people fail when they require to much information before they get started. With all the ads and opinions out there, really you just have to make a decision and go for it.4.Set an action plan.5.Take massive action on your own action plan.

As you develop personally and start to take control of your own mind, you will start to see that life will become a little easier for you. Everyday your tasks will get a little bit easier. You can become more creative because you have detached yourself from your mind, which allows you not to fear failure.

Not fearing failure will allow you to try things that other people will not. The key to personal development is just disconnect from your mind and go all out.

Assuming 100 people are asked to choose between wealth and poverty, I have no doubt in my mind that all the 100 people will opt for wealth. Wealth is something that a lot of people are struggling to achieve. I know of people who have lost huge amount of money and resources, in the process of trying to achieve wealth. A lot of people have tried to acquire wealth without being successful.

Many cannot do or even go to bed without thinking of how to become rich in life- they want to become like Bill Gate, one of the richest man they all know. Many have done all sorts of numerous things in order to become wealth. Some People have decided to remain poor since they think the wealthy people like Bill Gate or Warren Buffet are born with silver spoon in their mouths. THIS IS A WRONG PERCEPTION OF WEALTH. The truth is that many people are poor because of their negative mindset about money/wealth.

If you want to create wealth you must first create value that people can pay you money for it. The value is money. You must first create money in the mind before it metamorphose into physical cash. In few words, “the mind is the only machine that can manufacture anything we want”. If you have made up your mind to be poor, then you will remain poor except something important is urgently done to pull you out of the condition.

The financial condition you are today is as a result of the decision you made in your mind in the past. The financial condition you will find yourself tomorrow or in the future will be the result of the decision you will make today

There is power in the mind/thought. All good or bad things today are the products of the mind and thought. You have to be positive in order to achieve worthy things. Without positive mindset, Bill Gate wouldn’t have been a wealthy person. He knows how to make use of his mind to get what he wants out of life. If you must achieve wealth, it is the right time you learn how to conceive thing (including money) in your mind- positively.

You have the ‘money-making’ power inside of you. You don’t need to roam around the street searching for wealth- money don’t grow on trees. Your mind already carries your wealth, no matter its proportion or amount. Create (think) that riches you want first in your mind first and work towards it physical manifestation. When you do this, you will see it come to reality. Many may not believe in this because of their negative mindset that gives them nothing good but further constraint them to poverty and sorrow.

Anyway, no mater how you come across this article, consider it a ticket to your financial prosperity because its ultimate aim is to reveal the secret rich people are using in raking money into their bank account. Most of them, especially in the ‘poor countries’, are hiding the secrets of wealth creation from the ordinary people. Why life coaching as a business is dead and why you need to change if you want to survive

Life coaching, as a money making business, is dead. That’s according to Nick Bolton, founder of the Smart School of Coaching.

The day of the generic life coach has passed. The industry has matured; there’s a growing understanding of the role of a coach as a change maker not a be-all-things-to-all-people identikit.

“Coaches who want to work in the personal coaching world, as opposed to the executive or corporate arenas where traditional coaching still functions effectively, are becoming change makers. Being a just life coach is not enough.” says Nick.

However he isn’t sad at this turn of events. Instead Nick sees a number of exciting consequences in the work he does with the coaches he trains.

1) Successful coaches are clear about who they want to help and why. Coaches are finding that not only does specialising in a certain aspect of life or business improve their own business results but it also means they get better at creating change in that area of work. As an example, one of the coaches The Smart School trained focuses on helping head teachers to improve their school performance, manage their own stress and expectations, build a more effective team from the teaching staff and much more. As she has embarked on this journey, she realised that she can help her clients get much better results by understanding their world inside out than by being a jack-of-all-trades.

Not only that but her marketing methods could be exponentially more focused, attractive and relevant when aimed at a certain group of people rather than everyone.

“For example,” says Nick, “one of the most popular ways for coaches to reach out and offer a different kind of approach is through running workshops. Many of the coaches we train go on to run workshops as both part of the work they do to create change but also as a way of reaching out to potential one-to-one coaching clients. It’s incredibly effective and also highly enjoyable element to being a coach.”

Successful coaches thrive on their own personal growth and development of new skills. Part of the joy of being a coach is to be able to flex your brain power and emotional intelligence by constantly developing.

Running workshops is just one of many new skills coaches develop because of this shift in the role of the coach. Others might include public speaking, running a mastermind group, video coaching, group coaching and so much more.

3) Successful coaches need to position themselves as experts or thought leaders with a message or solution to share. This might be achieved by writing a book, creating a well-subscribed blog, speaking at events, even becoming an industry celebrity!

“One coach I know who only started her business just one and a half years ago was recently flown off to New York in a private jet, is appearing on TV and has been commissioned to write her own book.” says Nick.

“Another of the coaches we trained has become a leading light on gay women’s issues and as well as coaching is now an agony aunt for a leading gay women’s magazine.”

Quite simply, it’s more important than ever to actually be a highly-skilled coach. Coaching is the lynchpin of a coach’s ability to create change. Great coaching produces great results and it’s this that coaches are measured by in the end.

Coaching for business is the process of listening in the voices of every individual involved. You set day or days for you and your workers to sit down and just talk about the company: its strengths, weaknesses, limitations, and opportunities. You collate these observations and collectively decide on drastic ways to boost your company’s morale and productivity.

You then give a support system and business advices to your work group. This is done even in many companies – big to small. You can either have a personalized one-on-one session, small group discussion, or even a company-wide seminar. Your coaching style depends on the pressing problem you need to focus on.

The decision of your group must of course be guided by you (the owner) and a certified life coach. This coach has theoretical knowledge on different business problems. Coaching for business encourages everyone involved to take a fresh look at the current company problems.
