What is happiness? If you were to ask your friends this question today I am absolutely sure you will end up with many answers. And, if I were the one to answer it, then I will answer it from my experience. My practical experience I have gained all along is that I derive true happiness the moment I better someone’s life. Do you agree with this?
Everyone is craving for happiness but it saddens that most people have a hard time of finding it. There are many ways to make someone’s life better. This someone could be your friends or people you hardly know of. All what matters is how you have changed their lives. People will gravitate to you if you change their lives. By doing this you make connections (you acquire friendships.) The more lives you better the happier you’re.
The happy faces you see around you are always grateful. These people are grateful for the people and good things in their lives. Being grateful for things and people in your life derives you happiness. One way to help you get closer to happiness is to work towards closer relationships with your friends and family. Steer clear of negative people who only bring you down.
Remember to be thankful for the things you have: your relationships, your career and your friends. Being thankful for what you have can go a long way towards helping you find happiness. Happy people tend to have a sense of purpose and know exactly how they want their life to be. By the way, what’s your purpose? If you know your purpose, are you pursuing it? If yes, then that is happiness.

Optimism isn’t something that all of us naturally have, but as you’ve probably noticed, people who are happy tend to be optimistic.
